On Saturday lunchtime, 19/12/20, I got a call from 01408 353688, which is apparently Golspie in Scotland, but I’m here in Lancashire. The caller was a woman with a really posh English accent, and she said it was BT warning me about suspicious stuff happening on my internet. She told me they’d cut off my landline unless I pressed 1 to talk to their "managing director." I just ended the call straight away. Honestly, it’s awful that anyone would use their voice like that for these dodgy scams.
