Got a dodgy call claiming to be from EE but the number was faked. EE don’t even have any offices in Holyhead, Wales, and whenever they ring, their number always finishes with 150 plus they always send a text beforehand saying they’ll call you back. These scammers from India are up to tricks again, trying to pitch some “new version” of 5G - which doesn’t even exist!

I got a call from a mobile number trying to get info on my wife's EE account to push an upgrade. It seemed fishy since she's just an additional line on my main account. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

This number has called me a couple of times around the same hour but didn't leave any voicemail. Bit suspicious, especially since I'm registered with the TPS. Definitely seems like a scam to me.
