I called the number back but blocked my caller ID, and they just cut me off straight away. Seems like they weren’t really up for chatting with me after all.

Got a call from AMS Nationwide claiming there was an accident involving me from 2 years back - which I definitely never had. When I asked for more info, the caller said they couldn’t share details because of the data protection laws. I told them fine, I’d just pop down to the Holbeach police station to check on this mystery accident and give them the caller’s number. Right after that, the caller hung up. Pretty clear these lot are scammers.

I received a call about an alleged car accident I supposedly had, which is quite strange since I've had no such incident. They promptly ended the conversation as soon as I mentioned my lack of any accidents. Odd, isn’t it?
