Over the past couple of days, this number has rung me about five times. Every time I tried calling back, thinking it was fine since it’s got the 01406 local area code, I got straight to an automated message saying my call mattered and an operator would be with me soon. But it never actually rang through or connected. I hung on for a good couple of minutes just to hear that same line repeating. I’m really hoping I haven’t been charged, but if it were truly local, surely my phone would’ve made some ringing noise before dumping me on hold.
