picked up the phone (don’t know why i bothered, normally I let it ring) but it was some bloke with a really cheerful voice, said he was from some black-something place - couldn’t really catch his name or company because of his accent. He goes, “hope you’re having a lovely evening,” which made me realise he wasn’t local since it’s only early afternoon here. I just said "hello?" again like I hadn’t heard him properly, then ended the call.
