Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft, telling me my computer had been sending error messages for a few days and that it was hacked. They asked me to keep my PC on so they could show me the errors. The woman on the line had an Asian accent, but I told her I work in IT and there’s no chance she was really from Microsoft. I just said thanks, wished her a good day, and ended the call.
