Got a call from an automated voice claiming my Visa/Mastercard had been charged about £600 overseas. They said if I hadn't made the purchase, I should press 1. I hit the button and then the line just went dead. Heard from someone else that if you do press 1, they tell you to expect a call from the fraud team within the next hour - total scam stuff.

Got a call from someone with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be from VISA, asking for my card info and recent purchases to 'verify' my account. Their English was really rough and they just stuck to the same script no matter what weird questions I threw at them. When I said I knew it was a con, they hung up straight away.
