Be careful, this is one of those TalkTalk scams trying to nab your bank info. They get you to install TeamViewer, claiming your router is under attack. They already have your TalkTalk account info and contact details. Their story includes offering a new router as a kind of 'compensation' and then ask you to log into your bank to process a payment. Best to avoid them completely, it’s dodgy.

somebody said they were from talktalk, saying there had been problems on my phone line for ages. before doing anything, they wanted my talktalk account number. they then gave a number that could have been mine, but i’m not sure. the number was from honiton, devon, which as far as I know, isn’t where talktalk's tech support is based. seemed fishy - probably a scammer trying to hack into your computer using a fake number!
