Got a call where nobody said a word, just dead silence. Bit weird and a bit creepy, honestly.

Got a call from some bloke who didn’t bother to give his name or say which company he’s with. He was asking about loft insulation supposedly paid for by the government. When I asked if he’d got the right number, he just cut me off straight away. From what I’ve been hearing, there’s a load of scams going round where they promise government grants but then want you to put some money upfront. This one definitely sounded dodgy to me.

some young bloke called about government-backed insulation or something. i told him i never had that done. then he went on saying it must have been updated lately. i said no again, nothing to do with me. he kept pushing so i just hung up on him in the end.

I got a call from a guy claiming he needed to discuss some government cash for insulation supposedly done on my left side of the house. Thing is, I never got anything like that installed. I just ended the call.
