I picked up since I was waitin on a delivery call. This polite Indian man asked if he could ask me three quick questions, said it’d only take about 14 seconds. When I asked if it was about my delivery, he said no. I explained I was waiting for an important call and had to keep the line open, then I ended the call and blocked the number. Definitely felt like some sort of scam.

Got a call from someone with an Indian or Asian accent just as I was about to leave. They asked to talk to me, but I wouldn’t say who I was. When I wondered how they got my mobile, which I only share with close mates and family, they just clammed up. They said if it was something important, to send it by post, but never gave me an address. Then they hung up. Weird experience!

Why can’t we report scam attempts straight to the police’s ’action fraud’ form anymore?
