I got a call from a guy with a foreign accent who said his name was Justin and he was from BT Openreach. He claimed some scammers were messing with my internet, but I didn’t stick around for him to ask for any info and hung up straight away. He tried ringing again, so I told him I knew it was a scam and ended the call again.

Got a call from someone pretending to be BT, claiming my internet hadn’t worked for 48 hours. I told them it had, it was only down on Monday because Virgin Media were upgrading their cables. They insisted I was wrong. I even showed them the text from Virgin to prove it. It’s like they expect us to be daft or something.

Got a call from an Indian lady asking for someone who doesn’t even live here now. Feels like they’re working off some dodgy, outdated list - maybe a BT database that got nicked or something. She kept going on even after I said it was the wrong number, which was pretty daft. Never did get to find out if it was some scam about appliance insurance or bogus broadband deals trying to pinch cash. Very annoying!

I received a call from an Indian woman inquiring about someone who’s no longer with us. It struck me as odd-perhaps they're relying on a dodgy, outdated database swiped from BT or something? Honestly, it’s baffling how some people keep pressing on, even after being informed it’s a wrong number. Unfortunately, I couldn’t uncover whether she was peddling appliance insurance, a faux broadband deal, or yet another con trying to swindle folks out of their cash. Quite the mystery, really!

Got another call today from someone claiming to be Martin about my BT internet. The bloke had an Indian or Pakistani accent and was going on about the same stuff I heard yesterday, but this time from a different number. Seems like the same scam with people using English names but giving themselves away. Hung up and blocked straight away.

I received a call from an Indian woman who seemed to be looking for someone who no longer exists. It's rather puzzling-perhaps she’s trawling through an ancient database that’s been nicked from BT? Honestly, it’s quite daft for her to keep ringing when it's clear she’s got the wrong number. Sadly, I missed the chance to uncover whether she was trying to pitch appliance insurance, some dodgy broadband deal or yet another scam aimed at parting people with their cash.

I picked up the phone and was hit with this really exaggerated fake Indian accent, saying something that made zero sense and then just hanging up. It’s so frustrating that there’s no way to actually track these people down. Do you really think they’re calling from Horsham? I doubt it very much. Honestly, I’ve got proper job openings for genuine people who want to do honest work and actually help others over the phone instead of just wasting everyone’s time. Proper annoying!

I got a call from this number and some bloke called Jason Smith, speaking with an Asian accent, was trying to get me to renew the warranty on my Bosch washing machine. He actually knew my name, phone number, and where I live. I told him I’d already sold the machine. From what I’ve found, the number is linked to Loft Solutions NW Ltd. I’m pretty sure this is a scam.

So this bloke rings up saying he's from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address is 'public' and he can fix it by switching it to private. I got a call from some bloke named Allen Smith, sounded Asian, saying he was ringing from BT about our internet. He asked if he was talking to the main owner or someone allowed to pay bills.
