Like many others, I got a call from a woman with an American accent saying my IP address was supposedly linked to four different countries. She warned my internet would be cut off unless I pressed 1 to speak to a technician. I just chuck it straight into my BT spam bin. They must be flipping through loads of fake numbers 'cause this one's clearly spoofed. Honestly, someone really needs to put a stop to this nonsense. I almost pressed 4 just to rant, then tried the 'technician' option for a laugh.

Just like some others here, I hung up straight away. Don’t even think about pressing 1 for an engineer - it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call around 3.25pm on 28th September 2018 telling me my IP address was hacked from multiple spots and I should change it ASAP. The weird thing is, I don’t even have internet or any IP address at the number they rang!

We live in Glasgow, code 0141, so just a heads up. Got a call this afternoon around just before 3pm with an automated message claiming to be from our internet company. They warned that if we didn’t update our IP password, our internet would be disconnected. Afterwards, there was some sort of menu, but we just ended the call straight away. When we tried ringing the number back from another phone, the line was busy, which seemed strange. Probably a scam they're running on lots of people. Looks like the number might be registered around Horsham or somewhere near there?

Got a voicemail saying my internet was about to get cut off because my IP was hacked or something. They said I needed to press "1" to talk to a tech, or else no internet in an hour. Total scam, obviously.
