Today, I got a call on my mobile from a lady who said she was from HMRC, and honestly, it just messed up my whole day. She started off accusing me of dodging my taxes and then went on about court cases and even prison time. I’m pretty sure HMRC wouldn’t behave in such a way, so I stood my ground and told her that. After a bit of arguing, I just ended the call. Even though I knew right away it was all rubbish, the whole thing was still really unsettling.
