Received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from Brighter Homes, asking to chat with the homeowner. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, she mentioned something about sending a voucher. However, when I pressed for more details, she abruptly ended the conversation. Quite peculiar, I must say!

Received a couple of calls today. The initial one was just dead air, and on the second ring, it turned out to be Brighter Homes. I made it clear that I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service and requested them to remove my number from their database.

I keep getting these annoying silent calls on a daily basis. Whenever I decide to ring them back, I hear an automated message in an American accent assuring me that my call is significant and that I’ll be transferred shortly-only for it to cut off unexpectedly! I've lodged a complaint with Ofcom, but the Telephone Preference Service is utterly pointless; they won’t take any action since it's categorised as a silent call. What a farce!
