I received a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who claimed to be from the NHS, inquiring whether I had received both of my COVID jabs. Honestly, the NHS would never ask such a ridiculous thing! When I declined to respond to his probing questions, he abruptly ended the call. I've now blocked the number.

I had a rather similar encounter! An Asian woman claimed to represent the NHS and started quizzing me on whether I'd received both vaccine doses, if I experienced any side effects, and if I possessed my covid jab certificate. Then, she oddly transitioned to discuss my life insurance, asserting that she could "see" I was covered by a specific policy. When I queried her authenticity, asking if she was truly from the NHS, she confidently replied, "Yes, madam, NHS covid." I countered with, "Well, you certainly cannot see that I have any insurance, because I don't!" At that point, she abruptly ended the call. I've blocked her number now, but it does raise some concerns for me as I'm participating in a covid study, which makes me wonder if there was any legitimacy to her call. Now, she's firmly on my block list!
