Some guy calling from India said he was with the NHS and started asking if I’d gotten both my covid jabs. That’s not something the NHS would even ask, seems dodgy to me. I didn’t answer and he just dropped the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

Had a call from an Asian woman claiming to be from the NHS, asking if I’d had both my covid jabs, if I experienced any side effects, and whether I possessed my vaccination certificate. Then she suddenly started talking about life insurance, saying she could somehow “see” I had a policy with them, even though I don’t. I asked her straight up if she was really NHS, and she said “yes ma’am, NHS covid.” I told her there’s no way she could know about that insurance because I definitely don’t have one. She promptly hung up. I’ve since blocked the number, but it was especially concerning since I’m involved in a covid study, so maybe it was legit at first. Either way, no more calls from that source now.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the NHS Covid vaccination team. I flat out told them they definitely weren't with the NHS and when I asked why I thought that, they just hung up. It was clear as day to me, but I wasn't about to help them get better at tricking folks! These dodgy callers could really fool elderly or vulnerable people sadly. How long is OFCOM going to let this go on? They need to put a stop to it!
