Got a call from an Indian bloke who said he had three questions, but as soon as I told him I wasn't interested in buying anything, he got pretty rude. He then claimed he wasn’t selling anything but still began being really cheeky and starting to insult me. I matched his attitude for a bit and then just ended the call.

I just had an odd phone call from someone named "Sam" - his accent felt a bit Indian, if I'm honest. He claimed to be ringing from UK Claims xxxxx, stating that they were a government agency now dealing with PPI claims. He informed me that our claim had been approved and a payout was due in March 2020, but insisted I confirm my identity first. He had our postcode and seemed clued up on our banking details, yet insisted on verifying my date of birth. When I opted to decline and requested he send us a letter instead, he became noticeably irate and exclaimed, “So you want to forfeit your money?” before abruptly ending the call. Quite the experience, to say the least!
