7 yearsGot a call from some automated voice about a crash they said I was in and got hurt, which I never was. I cut it off straight away but sounds like one of those dodgy accident claims scams, probably some new version of those accident management firms. Be careful if you see this number cropping up! These scammers haven’t gone anywhere, still lurking about.7 yearsEvery few weeks, I end up getting calls from these people. I've asked them more than once to remove me from their calling list, but they just ignore it. I even mentioned that under GDPR they aren’t allowed to have my number or any info without my permission, yet they still keep ringing. I told them I'm on the TPS too, so they shouldn’t be contacting me at all, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference.Telephone Preference Service7 yearsThis one never gets old for me. I usually say something like, “Thanks for ringing, but can you hold on a moment?” Then I pop the phone down, wait around 10-15 seconds, and come back with, “Please remain on the line. Your scam call is very important and someone will be with you soon.” After that, I just leave the phone and go about my business until they hang up.7 years“Excuse me, are you calling about an accident you believe I had?” Nope, you got it all wrong. Just leave me alone! How on earth did you get my number anyway? I have serious health problems and only ever share my number with a handful of trusted people, so this feels like a data breach or maybe my phone’s been tapped or something. It’s beyond annoying, honestly. So frustrating! Grrr!Submit Your Own Report (01400 043106)
