Got a recorded call from someone named Heather at Her Majesty’s Customs. I hung up straight away. It said Heather but the voice was definitely a bloke!

Got calls from Verso Group loads of times, all different numbers. I told them to stop and take my number off their list every time, like the last 3 calls. I could ring or email and ask them to delete my info properly, but I’m not convinced they wouldn’t just try to get more info out of me instead.

"VERSO" - a polite lady with an Indian accent, pretty much used the same lines as other callers before her. I told her she was the first one who'd spoken nicely to me all day. She had an outdated postcode for my address, and when I corrected her she asked for the updated one but then dodged my question about why they were calling, changing the subject and asking again about my energy provider. Can't be bothered, so I blocked the number.

Those dodgy Verso lot are still up to their old tricks, trying to pull scams. They seem to pass their dodgy calls on to some bloke overseas. Best just block them and report to the ICO and Action Fraud for those illegal cold calls.
