Had a weird call from some robotic voice saying they were from TalkTalk and threatening to cut me off. So I checked the number 1471, and it says "currently out of service" which makes no sense. Definitely putting this number on my block list!

Got a robocall from Talk Talk about some supposed fault on my line, saying to press 1 to speak to an engineer or 2 to disconnect. Total rubbish, just ended the call straight away. This is definitely another scam trying to pull a fast one.

this guy said he was from talk talk tech support so i decided to mess around a bit. he told me to wait on the line but then i just ended the call. he rang me back and got all angry asking why i had dropped the call. i told him what right he had to speak to me like that. then he started threatening to disconnect my internet so i hung up once more. since then I've had 2 more calls from him!

Avoid picking up if this number rings you - it’s some scammers pretending to be TalkTalk. They try to scare you by saying your internet will be cut off to trick you into paying. I checked with TalkTalk myself and they said it’s definitely a scam.
