I received a call from a rather robotic voice purporting to be from TalkTalk, warning me that my service might be disconnected. However, upon checking with 1471, it turns out that the number isn't in service at all. I’m definitely blocking this one!

this guy said he was from talk talk tech support so i decided to mess around a bit. he told me to wait on the line but then i just ended the call. he rang me back and got all angry asking why i had dropped the call. i told him what right he had to speak to me like that. then he started threatening to disconnect my internet so i hung up once more. since then I've had 2 more calls from him!

Avoid picking up if this number rings you - it’s some scammers pretending to be TalkTalk. They try to scare you by saying your internet will be cut off to trick you into paying. I checked with TalkTalk myself and they said it’s definitely a scam.
