It began with a quick pause on the line, then a man speaking with an Asian accent said he was from BT. The trouble was, his voice kept cutting out with this weird hiccup noise which made it really hard to understand him. Plus, I kept hearing my own voice echo back to me after I spoke, which was rather odd. When I told him about the echo, he just ended the call straight away. Definitely seemed like a dodgy scam to me.
