It's astonishing to learn that this number has been flagged a staggering 40,000 times! Why on earth doesn't the Telephone Preference Service step in to address this issue? I received a rather enticing proposal for a thorough oven cleaning service that promised to restore it to its former glory. The only snag was that I couldn't interject as she was overly persistent in her pitch. They had a limited-time offer at just £45, and astonishingly, they were operating right in my neighbourhood, even suggesting they could come the same day. I suspect if I hadn't mentioned I was expecting a new cooker delivery, she might have requested my bank details! I must admit, I only said that to deflect her. The woman was incredibly eloquent, so just a heads-up to others! Be cautious!
