I've had a similar experience twice now already this year! This time, it’s from a different number altogether. They’re claiming to be from Amazon Prime, trying to get me to cough up cash for a subscription renewal that I pay for without fail. What a bunch of crooks!

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming she was from Amazon about cancelling my Prime subscription. I found it fishy straight away since the number was unfamiliar and I'd already cancelled it weeks ago. She then handed me off to a man, also with an Asian accent, who asked me to open Team Viewer so they could get into my computer. I cut the call right away and blocked the number. After that, I phoned Amazon myself, and they said they never make these kinds of calls and it was definitely a scam.
