Got a call from “Jo”, who said she was an energy advisor from around here. When I asked her what part exactly, the line just went dead. Definitely sounded like a scam call.

Didn’t get any voicemail after they rang and I didn’t pick up, pretty sure it’s a scam like others have said in the reviews.

This number showed up as a nuisance, so I didn’t pick up first time. But I just got a call from 01215292357 and answered since I suspected it might be an important call. It was another “Energy Saving” company. A woman named Jane was trying to get me to say “YES” when she asked if I owned the house. I ended the call straight away cos I’m pretty sure they’re trying to trap your voice for some sort of scam.

Until the government steps in to stop firms from selling our numbers, these calls from strangers will just keep annoying and upsetting folks. Honestly, any number we dont recognise is probably a scam. Proper businesses should have their names show up so we know who’s calling.

Got a call about loft fitting, sounded really legit but turned out to be a scam. They asked if I was between 29 and 79 years old. The person claimed to be from an energy provider... definitely dodgy!

Got a call from someone named Jo, claiming she worked for some energy company, but I couldn’t catch the full name ’cause she was talking really quick. She mentioned having a few offices around the country. Then she asked if I was the homeowner. I asked her to repeat the company name, but she just rushed through it again. She asked again if I was the homeowner, and I told her I don’t know who she is. They hung up straight away. I reckon she wanted me to say “YES” so they could record it or maybe try and get some of my personal info, but she didnt even know my name.

Somebody rang claiming to be from the council about insulation put in my loft. I could tell it was dodgy since I don’t have an attic at all. Ended the call straight away before they could say more.

This lady spoke proper English and said she was with a local energy firm. The number looked dodgy but usually, calls from weird numbers have people speaking in poor English, so I kept listening. Right away, she asked if I was the homeowner. I told her I don’t share personal stuff and she hung up on me straight away.

Somebody calling from a script asked if I knew anything about saving energy and if I owned the house. When I replied 'no', they just cut off the call really quick.

The call began with that classic scam warning, a weird pause before it connected, then another lengthy silence followed by an Australian woman chatting about home energy saving. She named the company, maybe Rockwell or something like that, but I couldn't catch it properly. I tried to cut in to say I wasn’t interested, but it became obvious it was a pre-recorded message. Just a second after I tried to speak, the call was cut off by the caller. The number they called is a landline I never use for any online signups, so no clue how they managed to get hold of it.
