I've been receiving persistent calls from this number throughout the day, usually anytime from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon. It's happened quite a bit, but there was only one time I actually heard a voice. A chap on the line went on to enquire about someone who passed away a decade ago. What a lovely way to be reminded of the past!

Got a call just after 8 in the morning from someone claiming to be with telephone preference. He asked if I’m still getting annoying calls. When I told him he was the one being a nuisance by ringing so early and disturbing people’s sleep, he imediately ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from some preference blocking update service. They asked me for my bank details and sort code. Told them I didn’t share that info on the phone and if they needed to prove their identity, they could send me something in writing so I could check with trading standards. The caller kept pushing so I just ended the call. Seemed a bit off to me.
