I just got a call where the person only said “goodbye” and then hung up! Strange one.

So, I got a call saying there’s an issue with my internet and that it’s from BT. Thing is, we’re actually with Virgin media fibre broadband, but apparently it still runs through BT? When I tried ringing the number back, it just said "you’ve dialled the wrong number". Bit odd if you ask me.

Claimed to be from BT regarding an issue with my internet connection. They requested that I sit at my computer so they could guide me through the troubleshooting process using my keyboard. I decided to hang up on them.
