I work as a receptionist for a huge international firm and, almost daily, this particular number rings anywhere between 5 to 10 times. When I pick up and greet them politely, the line just goes dead. Curious, I tried returning their call, only to be met with an automated American voice telling me my call is important and to wait for the next available agent. I waited for about 25 minutes, but nobody ever answered. I’ve also tried searching the number online, but no info or company links popped up anywhere.
