Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be "the bank" but never mentioning which one. They said there were two unusual payments on my account, one over a grand from Amazon, and told me to press buttons to sort it out. Sounds like a classic scam trying to get you on a premium line. Best thing to do is just hang up and block the caller, don’t interact with it at all.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from the phone dept. He gave his name as John Jones when I asked for it. When I asked which company, he said BT but then added Telecom. He wanted me to confirm my postcode after I read one out. I told him I wasn’t comfortable sharing that. Then he snapped at me, calling me a silly woman, and just ended the call. Reported him to TPS straight away.

Received a call from someone saying they were from my bank’s security team, warning me about weird activity on my account. They wanted me to press certain numbers on the phone. I ended the call straight away and then called the bank back using another line. Turns out, the call wasn’t legit at all. Definitely a scam.
