I got a call from this Felixstowe number, claiming to be from BT and saying they were worried someone was using my broadband without me knowing. It was pretty clear it was a spoof, thankfully, because that just wasn’t true at all.

Somebody rang claiming to be from BT but they never used my name. I just told them to bugger off straight away.

I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from BT Openreach, telling me my computer was being used by someone else. It was hard to get any real details from him, and when I asked more questions, he just hung up. There was a lot of noise in the background like he was in some call centre or something.
