Received a cheeky call today from someone claiming to be with the "Energy Centre." The chap had a thick foreign accent and there was quite a ruckus in the background, definitely give away that it was a call centre-no idea where they were ringing from! I told them to remove me from their calling and mailing lists. This isn’t my first rodeo with them, and I suspect it won't be my last either. Honestly, wouldn’t it be grand if we had some proper laws to put an end to these nuisance cold calls?

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who wanted to talk to the CEO, saying she was from the regeneration department at Dun & Bradstreet or something like that. How on earth do they get away with pretending stuff like this? I've saved the number and blocked it straight away.

Had a call from someone with an Indian accent but I hung up before they could say who they were. They asked for a relative who lives here but actually just uses this address for deliveries - he’s never home, always working. Seems like this number and address are being passed round dodgy people. Watch out for this one, it’s a bit sus.

I get calls from the same lady probably two to four times every month. She knows my postcode, phone number and name, and has a sort of Indian or Asian accent. She usually says something about saving energy or that my computer has a problem and is sending out an alert, but it’s all nonsense. The "energy" bit is just a way to get me to do a survey. I really don’t want to take part. I’m disabled and it feels like she’s taking advantage of that.

Curiously, I offered my assistance, only to be met with the rather dismissive response that it was ‘none of my business.’ Can you imagine? I’ve resided at this address for a whopping 38 years! It’s absolutely outrageous! I’m determined to track them down; I won’t let this go lightly. If anyone happens to receive a call from 01393847125, I highly recommend you steer clear. A woman phoned me, speaking with quite a thick Indian accent. She clearly knew my name and the area I lived in. Claimed she was calling from some UK Energy Centre, offering to upgrade the insulation in my loft. When she started asking for more info about my house, I cut her off and said, nicely but firmly, to bugger off and not bother me again.

Caller claimed to be from The Energy Centre in England but mentioned they were calling from Telford. Honestly, the accent didn’t sound British at all, more like somewhere in India. They asked if our house was detached and whether they could access the roof. When I requested their address, they just ended the call. Suspicious to say the least!

On 13/07/2017 at about 16:23, I got a missed call from 01393 847 125. I didn’t pick up but found out the number using 1471. I’m on the TPS and my number is ex-directory, so I usually get random cold calls. I have a recorded announcement explaining that to any telemarketers. I track all unknown callers, and this one doesn’t ring any bells - it’s a new number to me.
