Unsurprisingly, this didn’t sit well with him, and he responded rather brusquely, suggesting I take it up with the TPS, claiming they had given out my number. He further added that those on the TPS list constantly moan about unsolicited calls and that he had no intention of ringing them in the first place. Quite a daft remark, I mused, since his knowledge of complaints implied he must have indeed contacted TPS members before.
