I received a message that said: FreeMsg: You've subscribed to Totally Discounts for a fee of £2.50 each time, with a maximum of three alerts a month. You can opt out at any point by texting 'stop' to 80250. For assistance, contact I-Simm Help at 01392953069. The thing is, I never signed up for anything in the first place!

Today at about 4:15pm I got a message from 013929530691 saying there’s a 10% discount on Boohoo orders. The text had something about freemsg charging £2.50 per alert and to text 80250 to stop. I’m also on Tesco Mobile and saw someone else mentioned getting the same message. I’m a bit worried if these messages might be costing me anything even though I haven’t replied to them. Anyone else had this happen?

I received a message that I’ve signed up for “Totally Discounts,” which charges £2.50 for each alert, limited to three a month. When I attempted to call the number provided, it seems to be out of service.

I never signed up for this but they still keep taking money from my account.

Just got a text from 01392953069 saying I’d be charged £2.50 per text alert, up to 3 texts a month for something called simmwids. Never come across this before and definitely didn’t sign up for anything like it. I looked it up online and stumbled on this chat here. Planning to get in touch with Three about it first thing tomorrow. Haven’t replied to the message as I heard it might cost to text STOP. Proper scammers if you ask me.

Got a text saying I’ve somehow signed up for a video service charging £4.50 every fortnight, which I definitely didn’t do. Tried texting the stop number but that does nothing. The helpline number they want you to call is probably insanely expensive too. This needs to be flagged and taken down ASAP.

If I just leave the text unanswered, will they still charge me?

Just got a message from simvids telling me I’d signed up to some service costing £4.50 every fortnight, which I definitely never did. I replied with stop, but they still took the money. Proper annoyed about it. I’m heading to my provider tomorrow to sort this out.

I've been receiving messages indicating that I've somehow signed up for a service called Simmvids, which is charging me £4.50 every fortnight through a company named "i-simm." To be quite frank, I never consented to any subscription, nor was I ever prompted to do so. It seems like there's a dodgy operator out there, preying on unsuspecting individuals, hoping they won't catch on or know how to cancel their so-called 'subscription.' It certainly reeks of a scheme to pilfer £9 a month from people who are none the wiser. The company director goes by 'David Marshall,' and their offices are registered at either: 13 Wareham Road Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA or 49 Station Road Polegate, Sussex, BN26 6EA It's worth noting that they appear to have changed addresses back in May 2017, but both locations give off the vibe of being more like PO boxes than legitimate business premises.

I'm a bit perplexed by the situation, as I've been getting messages from i-simm, and frankly, I have no interest in engaging with this firm at all.

Got a message from them out of the blue, never signed up for anything, and now they’ve hit me with a £4.50 fee. Been trying ages to get my money back but no luck so far.

I got a message saying I'd signed up for some Simmsy video thing that costs £4.50 every week, but I never did! It's a total scam. Don’t bother calling or texting them, they just try to rip you off. Best thing to do is tell your phone company straight away and get them to block spam stuff.

Received a rather alarming message claiming I was going to be charged, so I had a gander at these reviews before deciding to ring them up. The chap on the other end assured me he’d sort out the cancellation of my account. I also mentioned that I’d like a refund for any charges made, and he promised to pass that on to their complaints and refunds team. I doubt I’ll hear back from them at all, though.

Got a dodgy text saying I'm not signed up for some service and they'll be billing me £4.50 a month. It asked me to ring a number too. If you call it, they'll hit you with 40p a minute charges plus a connection fee. It really winds me up getting these spam messages, especially when they try to scam your cash! So annoying! =(

I encountered the same phone number last Sunday and decided to give 01392953069 a ring. It took them a solid six minutes to pick up. A gentleman named Mark assured me that my number would be deleted from JUST their system. But I can't help wondering - how many other lists am I lurking on?

I reached out to EE for assistance, and they informed me that the sole method to put an end to the nuisance is to give them a ring directly.

I'm at my wits' end trying to halt these pesky charges of £4.50 a week that keep disappearing from my account. I've sent a text to stop it, but that hasn't done the trick. There’s a phone number provided as well, but I’m too anxious to call, fearing they'll realise I've responded to their message. Can anyone suggest a way to put an end to this?

Not long ago, I received a message that came through with a code initially, followed shortly by a service notification-both arrived merely ten minutes ago. After glancing at other comments on this site, I decided to ring up and have a chat with a woman who took my details. She assured me that my name and number would be eliminated from their records. When I inquired about any potential charges, she stated emphatically that there would be none.

Last year, I fell victim to similar messages and ended up losing £45, only to be told by Vodafone that it was beyond their control.

Received a couple of messages around 4 in the morning regarding a subscription I never asked for. It was unsolicited, of course. When I called the number back, a woman on the line assured me that they'd remove my details from their database. The company goes by i-simm Ltd. Quite the rude awakening!

I've just had a rather peculiar experience. Two messages popped up on my phone while it was sitting idle, and they’re quite alarming. The first one provided me with an access code, and the second informed me that I've apparently subscribed to something called Simplay Videos at a cost of £4.50 a week! It goes on to instruct me to text "stop" or to ring 01392953069 if I encounter any issues. I’m baffled because I’ve not signed up for anything at all. Could this be some sort of scam?

I reached out to EE regarding this matter and was advised to contact the landline number mentioned in the text, which is 01392953069. They informed me that as soon as that message lands, you've automatically incurred the charge, fantastic, isn’t it? After making the call, I conversed with a chap named Elliot. He assured me he'd take my details off their records, though he seemed rather clueless about how I'd unwittingly signed up for the service (apparently during my slumber). It turns out, you must ring them to opt out; otherwise, you'll be facing a £4.50 weekly fee for this nonsense. Quite absurd, I must say!

I've been receiving messages from this number claiming that I've signed up for videos via 84509. If I encounter any issues, the texts instruct me to ring the number listed above. Quite confusing, really!
