Based on what I'd read from earlier replies, I was fully expecting this to be yet another unsolicited call. However, much to my surprise, it turned out to be the real deal, coming from the technical support team at John Lewis. The number they used, 0345 604 9049, seems to be one of those standard or generic lines they use. So, it definitely wasn’t a nuisance call after all!

This morning, I received a call from this number following my chat with New Look’s Customer Service team the previous evening about a refund issue. The caller mentioned that the refund had been processed and that I should see it in my account within a week. Strangely enough, he didn’t request any details from me, not that I’d have passed on any even if he had. It’s left me feeling a bit puzzled, to be honest.
