7 yearsI encountered a gentleman of Asian descent, and I found his English quite challenging to decipher. However, the bits I did grasp were rather offensive in nature.7 yearsI happened to be out when someone from the company tried to contact me, but they certainly made their presence felt, ringing my number a staggering 16 times within the span of just three hours! It's rather infuriating, as they need to identify themselves to get past my filters. The service in question is Phone Angel, provided by BT at no cost, depending on your existing agreement with them. Quite the nuisance, I must say!BT7 yearsI received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be from the Telephone Preference Service, stating they could halt all unwanted calls. They insisted I verify my MasterCard details, specifically a number that kicked off with 5. As we know, every MasterCard does indeed begin with that digit. When I pointed this out, they rudely told me to be quiet! Every time I attempted to respond, they just kept shouting 'shut up!' It escalated to threats of disconnecting my line! It’s all such a scam, and it genuinely worries me that someone may fall for it.Telephone Preference Service7 yearsI encountered a caller who appeared to be of Asian descent, perhaps Indian or Pakistani. Unfortunately, their speech was rather rapid and, coupled with a rather raucous environment, made it quite difficult for me to comprehend what they were saying. Just wanted to share my experience.
