Just picked up a call from an Exeter code after coming back from a trip there. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone, but there was loads of background noise like a call centre. I told them I wasn’t with Vodafone and hung up straight away. Looked up the number later and turns out it’s from a SPAR shop. Definitely blocked it since I doubt they had a real reason to get in touch with me.

Picked up the phone and said nothing. Honestly, if you’re just going to stay silent, don’t expect me to keep the conversation going.

The number was unfamiliar to me, so I just ignored the call and let it go to voicemail. Feels like it could’ve been some kind of scam.
