Got a call from 01392 849890. They said something but I couldn’t catch it properly, so I asked them to say it again and then they just hung up on me.

I got a voicemail claiming they were ringing from my letting agency about the flat I’m moving into. Thing is, they aren’t actually with the agency, more like calling in their place or something. They kept pushing insurance on me, even though I never gave permission for my info to be shared like that. Feels like harassment more than anything else.

Got a missed call but no voicemail left. When I tried calling back, it went straight to some client relations voice asking me to have a ref number handy. Before that, I looked up the number here and saw what other folks said about it. I only just moved house, so I’m guessing it's one of those sales pitches trying to get me to buy stuff.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Raidrains, gave me some reference number about the house I’m buying. They went on like they already had my phone and the property info, which freaked me out but turns out it’s just a scam. Proper dodgy situation.

I looked up the number on google and it showed up as being linked to both Your Move and Reeds Rain, which seemed legit. I called back since I’m currently renting through Your Move, and it turned out it was actually someone from Your Move ringing me about contents insurance. Definitely not a scam or anything dodgy. Plus, the insurance firm they named is a real company, so all seems above board!

They kept saying they were from some insurance company but also mentioned they’re estate agents. What’s weird is they actually knew the address of the place we’re about to buy! Can’t figure out what they’re after.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Your Move. Left a message with a reference number but didn’t explain what it was about. Said they were calling for the branch I’m with, which is Ramsgate, but this number was Exeter and nowhere near my area. I rang the Ramsgate branch myself and they told me they'd contact me if needed and to just block the number. Never actually spoke to the caller and didn't want to. I'd recommend contacting your local branch directly and not bothering to call this number back.

I received a call from a chap purporting to be from Your Move regarding a property I was in the midst of acquiring. I informed him that we had already completed the purchase and settled in, after which the call abruptly ended. Furthermore, the number appeared as flagged for potential spam! What’s particularly unsettling is that he had my complete name and mobile contact details. The area code for the number originates from Exeter.

Was a woman saying she worked at Your Move in Lincolnshire about the house I was buying... I told her we've already bought it and moved in ages ago, then she said sorry, they hadn’t updated their files yet!!!! Bit odd really, I’m planning to ring Your Move myself and inform them... also the caller ID showed as suspected spam.

Looks like an estate agent scam! Got a voicemail saying it was a callback about a house I’m buying - the bloke called himself Adrian Bevin. I phoned my local branch straight away to check and they had no clue about the number or the name. Be careful folks and always ring your local office directly instead of calling back the number they leave!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the estate agent for a house we were planning to buy. Once I mentioned the sale didn’t go ahead, they just stopped bothering and ended the conversation. I rang the actual estate agent afterwards and they had no idea about either the call or who the caller was.

Im pretty sure my mortgage broker gave them my info. An Indian woman answered and tried to put me through to another person, but I really didn’t want to hang around on hold. They acted like it was some kind of must-do thing and that they’re linked with my broker, which they definitely aren’t. They even rang me back right after I ended the call, but I just ignored it.

This number rings me up around 3 times every week, saying they’re from Reeds Rains and asking me to call them back. When I checked, the number doesn’t match anything listed on Reeds Rains’ official site, and I already have contact details for my local branches. I never gave permission for my info to be shared with any outside companies, but judging by other reviews, it looks like my data’s been passed on just to try and pitch me something I’m not interested in. I’m not going to return their calls, but at least I’m glad they’re bothering my work phone and not my personal one.

WARNING: A guy named Sam rang me claiming he was from Davis & Tate, the estate agents. I checked with them and they said they don’t even have an office in Exeter, so the number he called from (01392 849890) doesn’t add up. He was asking for private info which feels like a scam and surely breaks GDPR rules since personal data would end up with them. Be very careful and don’t give out any personal details!

Got no clue who this is but they’ve been ringing me a few times this past week. A bloke left a message and sounded like he was calling from one of those call centres, but I couldn’t make out what he was saying or the reason for the call - all I caught was that his name was Tom! The phone line was all crackly and hard to hear. I’m guessing he’s trying to sell some kind of insurance?
