I received a call from this number, and they left a voicemail saying it was from HMRE. They warned that if I didn’t pick up, they’d send an arrest warrant for me. Bit scary, if you ask me.

Received a call at 5:40 on Sunday evening, claiming to be Amazon Prime. Since I don’t even have internet in my flat, I knew straight away it was dodgy.

Didn’t pick up cause the number looked unfamiliar, so it just went to voicemail, but they never left anything. No idea who’d be ringing from Exeter, so I’m thinking it’s probably just a random nuisance call.

Got two calls today from someone saying they were from Amazon Prime, but i’ve got no account with them. Pretty sure it was a scam.

I got this automated call saying something about my Amazon subscription and a £39.99 payment renewal, telling me to press a button to stop it. The thing is, I don’t actually have an Amazon account at all. This is the second time I’ve had this call in about an hour, the number shows as 01162 875253. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a call from 01392 841268, claiming to be Amazon Prime saying they’d charge me £39.99 from my bank if I didn’t press ‘t’ to confirm. I ended the call straight away since I had already cancelled my Prime membership before the ‘free trial’ began - didn’t want to pay the £7.99 monthly fee anyway, as I rarely use Amazon. Definitely a dodgy call, but it might worry people who believe it and end up costing them a lot.
