I missed a call at about 10:19 am on 6th May 2017 but didn’t answer quick enough. I checked the last number with 1471 and found it was 01392 812531. When I rang back, an automated voice came on saying the number wasn’t valid or something. Strange!

Had another call today around 3:15pm from a bloke with a heavy Indian accent who said his name was Kevin and he was ringing from BT in London. I told him the number he called from had an Exeter area code, which seemed to totally throw him. I also mentioned I’d looked up his number online and seen loads of warnings. When I asked what the call was about, he just straight out said he wanted cash.

This number rang me up and some guy with an Indian accent said his name was 'David' and claimed there was a problem with my internet. I told him I didn’t have a computer and didn’t think his name was really David. He called me a liar and threatened to cut off my connection! Then he went on to call me a b***h before slamming the phone down. What a charming fellow. Stay safe out there.

Today I got a call at about 9:43am from someone claiming to be with the national crime agency. They told me my computer was involved in some illegal stuff and said if I didn’t cooperate by answering their questions, they'd start legal action against me. I didn’t give out any details and asked for a callback number to check if it was legit. The bloke said his name was chief constable joe harris and gave me a number, but there was loads of background noise like a call centre and his English was pretty poor. Still, it was quite intimidating and worrying.

The call was missed and went straight to voicemail, but there was nothing there. I tried ringing them back, but the message said the number couldn’t be found. I’ve decided to block it now.

Got a call from someone early this morning around 9:30 claiming to be a BT engineer. I told him it was about time since I've been without internet for more than a week. All he did was mumble some nonsense before the call just dropped. Guess I won this round, haha!

Got a call this morning around 10.10 from a bloke with a funny accent who said "Good morning Sir" - bit cheeky as I'm actually a woman! Ended the call straight away. Total waste of time!

Some bloke rang me claiming to be from BT and told me my service would be cut off if I didn't get on my computer straight away and do what he said. I told him I wasn’t buying it, and he started sounding pushy, which made me think he wasn’t legit. So, I just hung up on him.

got a call this morning at about 9:05. honestly, it’s turning into a proper pain in the neck, and i reckon talk talk ought to step up and do more about stopping these calls. sounded like someone from a call centre in india, with that sort of accent, after a bit of silence at the start. i don’t bother with what they say, just tell them it’s unlawful and they deserve to be locked up. after that i block the number, but they always ring from a new one.

Got a call from someone saying they were with TalkTalk, asking about my router. They told me to expect a letter from TalkTalk or that an engineer might visit. Also said my internet was going to be disconnected. I just hung up and blocked the number.

Got a call around 9:35 from someone saying they were from TalkTalk, with loads of background noise like a call centre. They said they needed to check my internet security because my connection would be cut off for 10 to 15 days. I left them hanging and eventually just ended the call - since I don’t even use TalkTalk, that was an obvious scam!

Got a call around 9.35, loads of background noise like a call centre, lady said she was from TalkTalk, saying my internet would be switched off for 10 to 15 days to check security. I left her hanging and then hung up. Pretty obvious she was dodgy since I’m not even a TalkTalk customer!

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying they were from BT, mentioning my internet was slow. They gave me a number to ring back, 01444300055. I ran a speed test and it showed 51Mbps, which is pretty good for me! Definitely felt like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call on my home phone at about 10.15 from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk. Totally a scam, he said his name was Nick but he sounded like he was calling from another planet or something. Ended up hitting the button on my call blocker straight away.

A chap claimed to be called Michael, ringing up from BT regarding my internet service. I mentioned that I didn’t have any internet at all, and just like that, he cut the call. Quite the odd interaction!

So around 10 this morning, I got a call from an Indian woman, kinda hard to catch what she was saying. Said there was an issue with our broadband. She kept saying either me or my missus needed to sit infront of the laptop or something. I told her nah, I’d ring BT myself to sort it. She just hung up on me after that. Bit odd really.

I got a call around 10.15 from someone claiming to be from BT. She said I had to switch on my computer so she could guide me through stopping virus updates. I told her I don’t even get updates, and she just hung up straight away. These calls come every day, it’s really frustrating. Surely there's a way to block these numbers?
