I wouldnt pick up if i saw a call from 01392 790931, especially since i wasnt waiting for anything from Exeter. When I did ring them back blocking my number, i got someones voice with loads of noise in the background just saying hello over and over. They didnt say who they were, felt like a typical scam call to me.

Some one called claiming to be from my insurance company but they had my age all wrong. Feels like a total scam to me!

I got a call about "reviewing" my insurance but they had no idea what my real name was, calling me by a nickname I use online. When I asked for specifics, they just rattled off loads of different insurers and couldn't tell me which one they meant. The background noise sounded like a hectic call centre abroad. I just hung up after that.

My phone company said this number might be spam. They didn’t leave a voicemail, so I’m guessing it’s one of those annoying calls. I don’t have it saved in my contacts, so it went straight to voicemail. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they needed to check my life insurance details. When I asked which company the policy was with, they started rattling off names like Aviva and L&G - felt really dodgy, like a scam. I pressed them for the address they had on record, and then they just abruptly ended the call. The person had a strong accent that I reckon was South African. Definitely a spam call in my book.

Make sure you report every scam call you get. I've put some info here for you. Don’t ever agree or give them more than a word or two - that’s how they trap people. These days, scammers are even using AI to copy voices and trick folks into saying yes. If you want to know more about this serious risk, just search for 'voice cloning scams' or 'yes scams'. Loads of people are getting caught out by this, so it’s worth being careful and reading up on it.

Got a call from someone asking if I had life insurance, which I definitely don’t, so seemed like a total scam straight away. Then they went on to ask if I’m a homeowner. Bit weird if you ask me.

I picked up the phone and all I could hear was some faint noise in the background but no one actually spoke. I tried saying "hello?" a couple of times but then the call just got cut off. Weird!

This lady was asking about Tenancy Insurance or something like that. She used my first name and had an accent that sounded like she was from New Zealand or Australia. When I said I’m not a tenant, she stayed really polite but it definitely seemed like a scam. I ended up just blocking the number.

Got a call from a number I don’t recognise, not saved in my contacts or anything. No idea who it was.

Got a call from someone saying they were with a company connected to insurance, going on about how my insurance prices were going up. They somehow knew my first name but had no clue which firm I insured with. When I told them my insurance company, they started dialing their number, and I could clearly hear the ringing in the background. Then, the caller addressed me by a completely different name, which made me suspicious. The voice on the phone sounded Asian and there was quite a bit of noise in the background. I ended the call as soon as the other end picked up.

I didn’t pick up when this number rang, but from what I’ve read, loads of folks are saying it’s a scam. Seems like they’ve only just begun using this phone number recently. Best not to reply - they could be trying to make money from call charges or even rip you off.

Got a call trying to scam me, saying there was damage to my house. Total rubbish to scare people like that.

My phone flagged the number as potential spam. I missed the call since I wasn’t near my phone, and they didn’t bother to leave any voicemail.

Right from the start, I didn’t trust the call - the person spoke in that typical Asian accent and kept calling me by my first name, asking if my house had been damaged. Sounds like a total scam to me, as always.
