Yeah, total scam! Got a call from someone saying they were Jennifer Coleman at HMRC, threatening me with court. Then they finished with “have a blessed day!” Seriously, who talks like that? It’s mad. I guess it could scare some folks though!

My mum, who`s 83, got a couple of calls recently. When she picked up, there was this robotic voice saying it was the tax office and she had some urgent legal problem that needed fixing straight away. They gave her a phone number to ring back - 1392581316. I`ve made it clear to her that it`s definitely a dodgy scam and she should never call them back.

Got a call on my landline about some serious fraud issue and they wanted me to call back. If they already have my number, they clearly have my info, so I never bother calling them back. Just seems dodgy to me!

Got a recorded call at the end claiming it was HMRC warning me it was my last opportunity to deal with a serious issue. Total scam though, since I’m on PAYE and my tax is handled automatically.

They kept going on about taking legal steps against me, like it was some big deal or something. It was pretty annoying because I hadn’t done anything wrong. Just felt like a scare tactic to get me to do something. Not impressed at all.

Totally a scam call. I got a recorded message claiming I owed money to HMRC and had to call the number they gave me to sort it out or else there'd be big problems. No way I’m falling for that.

Some woman called, said she was Jennifer Coleman, started going on about legal threats and said she’d call again right away. Didn’t bother to use my name or even say goodbye properly. No “have a blessed day” or anything like that, which was a bit rude.

Got a call from some bloke named Dennis Johnson saying he was from the inland revenue. He said I was being sued for dodging taxes and needed to cough up £1500 straight away or I’d be in big trouble with the cops. I told him I’d have to check with my solicitor first and then ring him back.
