On the 8th of July, I received a call from this number on my mobile, but they didn't pick up when I answered. They also didn't bother to leave a voicemail. After seeing the feedback here, I've gone ahead and blocked and deleted the number. Just too suspicious for my liking! 😑

I had a rather peculiar phone call on Monday. A woman on the other end seemed to know my name, yet I didn’t verify her identity. The moment I mentioned it might be the coroner's office, she abruptly cut the line. Quite strange, really! 🤷♀️

I received a call from G B Capital Investments Ltd, a trading firm. It was supposedly from a director named Suneet Jain, located at 35 Manor Road, Aldershot. However, I’m having my doubts about the authenticity of the call—could well be a call centre scam if you ask me!

I encountered a chap who spoke exceptionally well, albeit with a hint of an Asian lilt, hailing from a financial firm in the capital. His accent was so refined that it left me utterly baffled. It was evident this was a call centre scam based on other people's previous experiences—quite menacing, to say the least!

Received four consecutive calls from this number with no voicemail left. Clearly, it’s yet another fraudulent caller tarnishing the reputation of India. If you’re curious about how these scams operate, I’d recommend looking up Peirogi or Jim Browning on YouTube; they really delve into it.

An Asian gentleman called seeking information, but I ended the call promptly. He then rang back immediately five times. This definitely seems like a scam to me.

I had a call from someone with an Asian accent. When I picked up, they didn’t say a word, and after a few moments of silence, they hung up. Curiously, they tried reaching out again, and the outcome was identical. It felt a bit like harassment when they began questioning why I had ended the call!

I picked up the phone as soon as I noticed it was an Exeter area code, thinking it was someone local. Little did I know that scam numbers could be so cunningly similar to our own. I’ll definitely be wiser about this next time!

I received a call from an Asian lady who was waffling on, and the only term that made any sense was "computer." I thought it was nonsense and ended the call. To my surprise, she called back right away, asking why I’d cut her off. When I mentioned it sounded like a scam, she adamantly refuted it, insisting she needed to discuss my computer. I had enough and hung up again.

Just like several folks have pointed out, this caller introduced herself as being from "the IT Department", and she asserted that I was having issues with my computer. She tossed my name around and proclaimed that she'd been in touch through some nondescript messaging service, which I had apparently ignored, and she tried to pressure me into sorting it out without delay. Her manner was rather confrontational, and she persistently pushed for me to adhere to her directives. Ultimately, I decided to just cut the call.

I've been bombarded by a number that's persistently ringing me, despite my clear request to be left alone. It's becoming rather distressing and truly hinders my ability to concentrate on my work from home. My voicemail is activated, yet they just won't stop calling. I reckon I've received around 15 to 20 calls today alone!

I received a call from 01392590016, with the caller insisting that some crucial details had been lifted from my computer. Honestly, the only significant data I have saved are the email addresses and birthdays of my mates and family, so I’m not particularly concerned. Still, it’s quite bothersome to receive these sorts of calls.

It appears I’ve been contacted by a rather dubious individual from India, attempting to convince me of some non-existent viruses plaguing my computer. She insisted that I follow her instructions to the letter, beginning with some CMD commands and then relaying back what was displaying on my screen! Utterly ridiculous!

I received a call from a rather Asian-accented individual purporting to be from Microsoft, insisting that my personal information had been breached. I entertained her for a short while, but when she asked if I was still on the line, I told her plainly that, in my view, she was the real con artist and her assertions were complete nonsense. At that point, her tone escalated, and she began her pitch anew, but I swiftly cut the call. She attempted to ring me back, but I chose to ignore it.
