Got a call from this number on 8th July, but I didn’t pick up and they left no voicemail. After seeing the feedback on here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked and deleted it from my phone 😒

On Monday I got a call from this number. The lady on the other end actually knew my name, but I didn’t say who she was talking to. Right after I mentioned it was the coroner’s office, she just hung up. Quite strange really. 🤷‍♀️

I got a call from G B Capital Investments Ltd, supposedy a trading firm, with a guy named Suneet Jain from 35 Manor Road, Aldershot. Felt a bit dodgy to me, not sure it was a legit call. Probably one of those call centre scams.

I picked up and they already had my name, but I couldn’t make out who exactly they were with. Asked them to say it again and they just hung up on me. Tried ringing back the number but it didn’t show up as a valid contact.

I got a call from this bloke at GB Capital Investment; his English was really posh, like some fancy Asian guy, but honestly, I struggled to make out what he was saying. Seems like a typical call centre scam to me, especially after reading similar complaints before. Feels pretty dodgy and risky, to be honest.

Don't trust this number, it's a total rip-off and the digits are wrong.

I got a call from a polite woman with an Indian accent on 14.11.23 claiming to be from Microsoft. She asked if I was the primary user of my computer. I told her I don’t own a computer at all. Then, she wondered how I get online - if it was via a tablet or mobile phone. I explained I don’t have internet at home and only use library computers when I need to browse. After that, she said goodbye and ended the call. Definitely a scam.

They called me four times back to back but didn’t leave any voicemail. Classic scam move from someone probably in Asia, just making India look bad. If you wanna see how these scams operate, check out videos by Peirogi or Jim Browning on YouTube - they explain it all really well.

Got a call from some Asian guy. I picked up but kept silent, then he just hung up. Moments later, he called once more and I did the same thing. He got all pushy, asking why I’d ended the call.

I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent who claimed there was an issue with my laptop or computer. I told her straight away she was a scammer, said goodbye, and ended the call. Then she rang back a minute later asking why I’d hung up. I told her again it was because she was trying to scam me, said goodbye, and hung up once more. Haven’t heard from her since. Fingers crossed she’s done now.

I've received an incessant stream of calls from this number, with the caller claiming to be affiliated with a Windows software firm. They were rather insistent, insisting it was a matter of urgency. Whenever I dared to put the phone down and questioned their motives, they vowed to ring me back. I can't stress enough - steer clear of this number!

This woman from India started rambling rubbish, so I hung up. Barely a moment later, she calls back all annoyed, asking why I cut her off and telling me I must have a computer or something. She really got on my nerves, so I didn’t hold back and gave her a mouthful!

Got a call from an Asian lady, all I caught was something about a "computer". I told her it was nonsense and ended the call. She phoned straight back, mad at me for hanging up. When I told her it sounded like a scam, she said no and that she wanted to discuss my PC. I just cut her off again.

Just like several folks have pointed out, this caller introduced herself as being from "the IT Department", and she asserted that I was having issues with my computer. She tossed my name around and proclaimed that she'd been in touch through some nondescript messaging service, which I had apparently ignored, and she tried to pressure me into sorting it out without delay. Her manner was rather confrontational, and she persistently pushed for me to adhere to her directives. Ultimately, I decided to just cut the call.

Been getting calls from this number nonstop all day even after telling them to stop. It’s been really annoying and distracting while I’m trying to work from home. I’ve got my voicemail on, but they just keep ringing back. I think it’s around 15 to 20 times now.

I got a call from 01392590016 saying some important stuff had been nicked from my computer. Honestly, I only keep emails and birthdates of my friends and family on there, so I’m not too bothered. Still, it’s pretty annoying having to deal with it.

Got a phone call from a woman claiming she was from tech support and said my computer was full of viruses. She kept telling me to open the command prompt and read out what was on the screen. Seemed like a total scam, with nothing better to do than try and trick me. Felt proper dodgy, honestly. :(

I received a call from a rather Asian-accented individual purporting to be from Microsoft, insisting that my personal information had been breached. I entertained her for a short while, but when she asked if I was still on the line, I told her plainly that, in my view, she was the real con artist and her assertions were complete nonsense. At that point, her tone escalated, and she began her pitch anew, but I swiftly cut the call. She attempted to ring me back, but I chose to ignore it.

This number has rung me about a dozen times non-stop. The callers profess to represent a Windows software company and were relentless, insisting that their message was urgent. So, this number called me just yesterday. When I picked up, I could hear loads of voices in the background. Then the caller asked which bank I use, and that’s when I just told them it’s none of their concern and ended the call. The person on the line definitely had a foreign accent.
