I got a recorded call saying my Amazon Prime has been hacked and there’s a huge order placed. They want me to press 1 to stop it. Feels dodgy to me.

Got a call from 01392537 173 earlier today. They left a voicemail saying my Amazon Prime account was hacked and someone put through a £350 order on my card. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to report it. Thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime and no money’s been taken from any of my cards. Total scam, clearly.

Just got a phone call from a supposed Amazon number about some Amazon Prime account I don’t even have, and they were going on about an iPhone 6 that I never bought. They asked me to press a button to speak to someone, but it all felt dodgy, definitely smelled like a scam to me.
