Got a call from 01392495698 saying they were from BT, sounded dodgy so I just blocked the number. Definitely a scam!

Got a call from some Indian scammers pretending to be with BT Openreach, trying to trick me into visiting their suspicious website. I acted clueless about computers for over 10 minutes, and then they started shouting at me, calling me a waste of their time. Such idiots!

Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach about my broadband supposedly causing an issue. The caller said they were ringing from 81 Newgate Street, London. I used to work with BT for quite a while, and to my knowledge, they don’t have any call centre at that location. Plus, I don’t even have BT broadband anyway. The number showed up as a diverted one, but I reckon it might be a dodgy or scam call.
