They kicked off by claiming to be from the technical team dealing with broadband and internet services. I’ve got no qualms with my connection, so I couldn’t help but wonder who on earth they really were and what they wanted. After a few exchanges back and forth, they revealed they were associated with BT Openreach. I didn’t bother wasting any more of my time; it clearly sounded like either a dodgy scam or just another marketing tactic, and frankly, I'm not keen on either!
