I received a recorded message from a woman informing me about two suspicious transactions linked to my bank account. It’s obviously a scam aimed at obtaining my banking details.

Got a voicemail from a lady claiming to be from my bank's security team. She said that £300 and over £1000 had been withdrawn from my account this morning! I just put the phone down straight away. Really clear it was a con. This is the third time this week I’ve had calls from different numbers but same area code.

I tried calling the number again but all I got was a voicemail saying I’d reached the wrong number.
