Got a voicemail saying it was from the Department for Work and Pensions warning me that my national insurance number was going to get suspended because someone's been using it fraudulently.

got a call from someone who spoke with indian accent saying they were from bt openreach. they told me the router was messing up the internet. they asked if i owned the broadband account, but when i said no, that i was renting the place, they hung up straight away. definitely a scam!

I think it’s linked to some internet closure scam I heard about that happened a couple of weeks back. Definitely suspicious so watch out!
