I got a call from someone claiming to be "David" (which honestly didn't sound like his real name) saying he was from Amazon, and the number had an Exeter area code. I wasn’t really sure if it was a scam since we’ve been getting loads of dodgy calls lately. When I tried to end the call, the bloke snapped at me with, "Listen here, madam," which I thought was pretty rude. I just told him I wouldn’t tolerate being spoken to like that and then put the phone down.
