I had my phone on Do Not Disturb and I didn’t pick up, but they called me four times all at 10:09 pm. Bit odd if you ask me.

So today I get a call from the Housing Tenancy Dept and they want to chat with Alfie. The funny part? Alfie's actually my dog and apparently, he's got a Facebook profile! 😀

Got a call from the police in Cornwall and Devon about a report I’d apparently made. Definitely not a scam, just them checking in.

I got a call from Devon and Cornwall Police while acting as a character referee for someone's licence. They wanted to double check the person's ID and confirm details on the application. On my phone, the call appeared flagged as a scam, which I mentioned to the police. They said they'd look into it. My guess is the alert pops up because the call comes through Microsoft Teams instead of a normal mobile or landline number. But honestly, the call was genuine.

It was quite early when they called and since I didn't have the number saved, I decided not to pick up. Something about the call just didn't feel right.

I got a call pretending to be from Vodafone and Three, asking for my details to send me a new SIM. Definitely a scam, don’t trust it.

Had a call from D&C Police about a crime report that happened in Cornwall, but the phone number they used showed up as an Exeter one. They said they were just following up on it. Bit confusing that the number was from a different area though.

Got a call from this number earlier, found it a bit odd so I checked it out. A lady claimed to be from Devon & Cornwall police and wanted to talk to Michael - that's actually my ex's name. I told her he doesn’t live here anymore, and she said they must have my number saved as his contact, then she just hung up. Only picked up because I’m waiting for a call from someone in Exeter.

I missed a call earlier and I reckon it might have been the Devon and Cornwall Police since I’ve got an ongoing case with them.
