I received a rather unsolicited call claiming that I had participated in a survey regarding solar energy-what absolute nonsense! I made it clear that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and that he oughtn't to be ringing me at all. Yet, he persisted in insisting that I had expressed some interest in the subject. In frustration, I confronted him about the fib and he abruptly ended the call. Typical!
