I got a call from someone claiming to be with Openreach, sounded like they had an accent from the Indian subcontinent. They said there were issues with my BT service - but I don’t even have BT! I asked for their contact number and at first they wouldn’t give it. Then they gave me an 0800 number, so I rang it while still on the phone to them, but it wasn’t picked up or recognised. When I questioned them again, they just ended the call. The number on my caller ID showed as 01392, but when I tried calling back that, it wouldn’t connect either.
