This number rings me daily, despite my attempts to block it. Somehow, it still manages to get through. Each time, they insist on speaking to my late wife, who, regrettably, is no longer with us. The call always ends abruptly.

Yet another infuriating unsolicited phone call!

I’ve got a feeling this could be an energy-related scam based on what I’ve read elsewhere – they didn’t bother leaving any sort of message.

I received a missed call from this number, so I decided to ring back, as I’m in the process of shifting an estate agent based in Exeter. The person on the line was somewhat unclear, but I gathered that she mentioned I might be eligible for something. I asked her to repeat herself, but when she inquired if I was a homeowner, I politely declined and ended the call. I've since blocked the number.

This number keeps pestering me with calls.

When I inquired whether I was indeed the person I claimed to be, she responded affirmatively, identifying herself as Mrs Fraud, then abruptly hung up. Quite peculiar, I must say!

I gave it a bell, and after a lengthy silence, an automated voice chimed in with a ‘goodbye’. Clearly, they were merely verifying if the number was still active on their nuisance list. Instant block!

As soon as the call came through, I decided to hang up right away since it looked a bit dodgy. Not long after, they had the audacity to ring me again, but I gave it a minute before hitting the end call button. Yet again, they were persistent and called back, but this time I let the phone ring without picking up. Luckily, it seems they realised I wasn’t interested in chatting this time around!

As soon as I saw the call come through, I knew it had the hallmarks of a scam, so I hung up right away. Remarkably, they rang me back straight away, but I chose to let it slide for a spell before hanging up once more. They then tried me again almost at once, so I decided to let it buzz through and, thankfully, they finally seemed to take the hint that time!

Scammers typically don’t pick up the phone, do they?

I received a call recently where the person on the other end seemed to know my name, and right away they inquired if I was the owner of the property. Upon my response of 'no', they promptly thanked me and hung up. Strangely, they didn't bother to ask for my details to follow up - just mentioned something about checking my eligibility for a complimentary energy assessment. The background noise was quite distracting; it sounded like a bustling marketplace with chatter all around. The lady who rang had a noticeable African accent, and there was no formal introduction or mention of the company she represented. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

I received a call about a survey, but I could hardly make sense of what the chap on the other end was rambling on about.

I wasn't familiar with the number, so I decided not to pick up.

Yet another nuisance of a silent call from these scammers. It's high time that these muppets faced hefty fines or perhaps even a spell behind bars. It's utterly ridiculous having to endure these scam calls around the clock!

I was keen to have a chat regarding tax credits and attempted to reach the managing director, addressing them by their first name as if we were old acquaintances.

Received a call on my mobile, but the caller didn’t bother to leave a message. I've decided to block this number based on the reviews I’ve seen here. Cheers for the heads up!
